Our son, Steven and his wife, Trisha are raising beef.  They were raised here on our farm in Hartland.  The cattle will be taken for processing in July.   The options currently are  halves or quarters.  The price to Steven and Trisha is $6 a pound hanging weight and you pay for processing.  Processing costs are: Whole $120 plus 68 cents per pound hanging weight Half is $60 plus 68 cents per pound hanging weight Quarter is $35 plus 68 cents per pound hanging weight We estimate the hanging weight as follows: whole 650 to 750 pounds half 325 to 375 pounds quarter 160 to 190 pounds The processor will be Jerome Meats.  When the meat is ready we will bring all the orders back to our farm for pick up by you.  You can ask google about how many pounds of meat you end up with and if it will fit in your freezer before you order. If  you would like to place an order please send an e-mail to us with your name, address and phone number before July 1, 2023.  Then I will give you more directions about when to call your cutting order in to Jerome Meats and when to pick up the finished order of beef from our farm. We would also appreciate a $200 deposit to be dropped off at our farm.  This would be put towards your final payment to Steve and Trisha. Cash is preferred but a check made out to Trisha Roeske will be fine. Our farm hours until May are: Sunday 2 pm to 6 pm (usually) Monday 10 am to 7 pm Tuesday closed Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm Thursday,Friday and Saturday 10 am to 7 pm
